Last time, what is Aikido in the first place? I've written a very introductory article for those who are interested in this article.
Kumamoto Prefecture Aikido Dojo (Classroom) Map
If you are planning to start martial arts, especially Aikido, please read this first.
In my case, I'll start by getting started and I'll do my best to become an aikido master!
I thought so, but I still don't have the tools!
Since it's in the countryside, martial arts stores are only far away!
What should I have? ? ?
Or do you have it prepared? ?
So this time, I've put together of martial arts shops in Kumamoto Prefecture
If you're going to shop, wouldn't it be fine to go to Amazon? ? That's what I'd like to say.
However, it's also fun to actually pick up the item at the store, talk to the store staff, find the right monk uniform and tools for you.
You'll receive information about various martial arts, and most importantly, you'll have more friends!
Kendo, judo, karate, archery, aikido. . . And so on.
Where are the martial arts stores in Kumamoto Prefecture?
First, I mapped martial arts stores in Kumamoto Prefecture.
I'm sure there are other things, but I plan to add them from time to time.
Kumamoto City is the most common .
In the northern part of the prefecture, it is located in Tamana City and Kikuchi City.
It also appears to be in Omuta.
Although there seem to be a lot of kendo tool shops, there are also shops that sell them in general.
I don't know which jiro suit to buy
First, there are " judo uniforms " and " hakama ".
If you are doing karate,
you are "karate uniform
If you are doing judo, you are "judo uniform" Aikido can be karate, judo uniform or Aikido uniform.
It's different if the teacher specifies it. . .
And how much is the best price? is.
The cheapest ones cost around 4,000 yen, while the expensive ones cost tens of thousands of yen.
In my case, my aikido uniform cost about 9,000 yen, but the second one I used one that costs less than 5,000 yen.
It's durable and I've been using it for about 2 years, but it doesn't tear at all so I recommend it.
As for the materials, there are two types:
those that mix synthetic cotton Synthetic fibers are relatively cheaper, but they are not a problem when using them.
Cotton seems to be more expensive.
I use cotton jiro uniforms, but I wonder if they get a little stiff as they are used.
There is a feeling that it is different to individuals.
I will check the durability in the future.
Also, although thin jiwami uniforms are well ventilated, they become difficult to move like wet towels when they absorb sweat, so
I don't use them now.
The first one is Aikido uniform, and the second one is Judo uniform.
Next is the hakama.
I think it will be one of two types: Aikido hakama and Kendo hakama.
I didn't really feel the difference between the two.
If I had to say I had to say, would the kendo hakama be a little stiffer? That's about it.
There is something called a "waist board" that touches your waist, but this is soft for Aikido hakama and a kendo hakama.
That doesn't mean it's hard to use because it's stiff .
Do I use a kendo hakama for around 5,000 yen? I bought it (I forgot the price...).
Of course, I also had my name embroidered.
It seems that many places can receive names in a number of yen per character.
In fact, when you go to the store, they will find hakama that suits your physique, so it's not too much of a problem.
↑The one on the right is a judo uniform. Sorry it's hard to understand.
The hakama is on the left.
In my case, the armpit part started to tear after three years so I bought a second one.
I continue to use my first hakama.
It also seems that there is a set of judo uniforms and hakama.
Maybe this is the target? Is it a limited time only?
Knee support This is important!
There's one more important thing.
Knee supporter! (also known as knee pad)
The reason why it is necessary is that in Aikido, there is a movement that moves while sitting upright and uses techniques.
It's called knee-row. A technique that includes the knee line is called a sitting technique.
From sitting upright, you move while pushing your knees forward, and flipping your knees to the fulcrum.
Therefore, if there is nothing to protect your knees, your knees will fall apart.
is sufficient
for volleyball , which is available at sports shops and home improvement stores It can be purchased for around 1,000 yen, so many people use it.
However, I am a huge man and my knees are over 40cm , so no ordinary supporters can fit in.
After searching for a lot of things, I found out that for people with thick legs, McTavid 's knee support is recommended.
Tools needed for martial arts other than Aikido
For information on what tools are required for martial arts other than Aikido, please refer to the article below.
A detailed explanation of kendo equipment is available on this website.
A detailed explanation of karate for the first time is available on this website.
Kendo is the most difficult tool, so it seems like it's difficult 💦
You can start judo with a judo uniform.
In any case, it costs a little money at first💦
, but what you can learn through martial arts will have a variety of impacts on your life in the future.
So, if you think of it as an investment in yourself, isn't it cheap?
The shop where I purchased judo uniforms and weapons
The first thing I bought was
Musashido This has two locations: the head office and the Suisenji store.
At the time, I came to the store with no idea what to do, so I measured various lengths and shoulder width and bought a judo uniform that suits my body.
The shop staff were excited to talk about things like, "Which dojo is this?" and "Why did you start?"
I also bought an Aikido uniform (with top and bottom obi) that cost around 9,000 yen, so I thought it might be a little expensive.
But what?! I was able to use it for three years without breaking it three days a week.
As expected, good prices last longer !
The hakama was purchased from Genbudo
This is a specialty store for kendo equipment, but it also sells judo uniforms.I bought a hakama for kendo.
My name was also embroidered.
The names are also ordered in a number of yen per character.
I had my name embroidered in yellow ^^
bought
the second Judo uniform All Japan Bed Dogumi
This one has all the martial arts genres, so it's very easy to understand.
The shop is spacious and the staff members are easy to understand and I'm glad.
All of the above shops also have online shops , so you can buy them from there.
About purchasing from the online shop
It is written as a martial arts tool store in Kumamoto Prefecture, but I would like to touch on the online shop
Many of the martial arts stores introduced so far operate online shops as well as in-store.
The good thing about online you don't need to go to the store and you can buy it right away .
It's not available in stores, but they often come in online , so it might be a good idea to look in stores as well as online shops.
In my case, I bought the jiro and hakama for Aikido in store, but I bought the weapons online.
The reason is that the three-piece set of "wood swords, staff, and tan swords" needed for Aikido can only be found online.
I also bought knee support online at a nearby store where I didn't have one that was the right size for me.
For these reasons, I am also very grateful for my online store.
summary
Thank you for reading this article to the end.
If we calculate the purchase amount roughly,
it is
11,000 yen for judo uniforms (approx. 5,000 yen) + hakama (approx. 5,000 yen) + knee support (approx. 1,000 yen) = 11,000 yen If you have the budget, it would be fine to go a little higher.
This will also be accompanied by weapons (wood swords, staff, daggers), but I have omitted them this time.
It's enough to get used to the weapon.
This time, I made a Kumamoto Prefecture martial arts map to buy the items I need for all martial arts.
I look this way, but I prefer analogue, so I value actually buying it in stores.
It's a lot of fun communicating with people who have the same interests.
I'll write more about weapons in a separate article.
Have fun.
I would like to continue to increase my martial arts teammates and plan interesting events
This martial arts map will be added and updated from time to time, so we hope this will be of use.
Now let's have fun martial arts LIFE!
It was Taiko!
