In Aikido, most of the physical training involves moving your body.
However, after hearing various teachers' stories, it seems that the founder, Ueshiba Morihei, was talking about the "Kojiki" during the training session.
When I talk about the Kojiki, it seems like it will turn out to be (゚д゚).
In fact, many students seemed to have done so, and
even so, the remaining people are probably older disciples.
So, what does Aikido have to do with Kojiki?
This made me interested in ancient Japanese history.
I've read a lot of books.
Among them, I came across a book by the chief priest at the old local shrine, Heitate Shrine.
There are various divisions in Shinto, and it is said that Heitate Shrine is the "Ancient Shinto".
Apparently it existed 2000 years ago.
First I read this book and actually went to Heitate Shrine.
Due to circumstances, I entered through the middle entrance and found a large cedar tree.
Lifestyle 12,000 years! ! ! ? ? ? ?
*Not old. It appears that the trunks have been decayed several times along the way, and new trunks have been grown there repeatedly.
Suddenly I felt a huge amount of energy.
I stopped for a moment and felt a sacred atmosphere.
It was Saturday, but it wasn't that crowded.
When you pray, the priest will also perform purification rituals.
I wanted to talk to you one after another as people come, but I'll be back next time.
His book says that the area, which is located in the Minami-Aso region where this shrine is located, is called "Chiho no Sato."
God descends there, so I wonder if it's Takachiho? That's what I thought.
Moreover, it seems that this is also Takamagahara.
After all, Miyazaki, especially Kyushu, is an important place in Japanese history.
It is said that Emperor Jimmu left Miyazaki and defeated Nagasuehiko of the Yamato region.
It is also said that Amaterasu Omikami was carried on a mikoto and enshrined there,
which is the origin of the mikoshi.
There was also a shrine where water gushed out as you descended the mountain.
I will explain more on another occasion.
If you learn about the history of shrines like this, you will be able to see how Japan has lived since ancient times.
Unfortunately, ancient history is not taught in schools or in the media.
*Everything is that if a teacher from somewhere told a Japanese myth in class, he was punished?
In order to interpret the spirit of Aikido in your own way, you will need to know the nature of the Japanese mind, which has been cultivated since ancient times.
I will write about the relationship between Aikido and the Kojiki (such as the founder's importance to the Kojiki) in the next article.
