About Aikido What's Aikido?

I'm the one being thrown
What is Aikido?

I've heard of "aikido" but what does it actually look like?
I saw the video, but it's a bit lie, I wonder if he's been throwing it on his own?
I think it's only natural that you think so.

So, what is Aikido in the first place? I would like to express this in my own way.
I would be very happy if my explanations made you interested in Aikido.

Now, as the name suggests, Aikido matches his partner. In other words, it is a martial art that completes a move by leading the opponent in the direction they want to go to and end the battle.

The three major features are:

1. Don't play games
2. Using weapons
3. A wide range of ages

Unlike other martial arts, the competition is a temporary thing, and even if you win today, you may lose if tomorrow comes. So if you set the battle as the goal, growth will stop there. Moreover, Aikido is intended to "eliminate" the opponent rather than "dominate".
When your opponent thrusts, they guide you in the direction you thrust together and complete a move.
This is hard to understand if you want to try it out ^^;

Weapons are also used in other martial arts, but it seems that many people think that Aikido is something you do with bare hands.
Use wooden swords, staff, and daggers. Of course, it's all made from wood!

They use this to deal with opponents that attack with their bare hands or with weapons.
Watching the weapon technique practice is quite impressive.

Regarding age groups, Aikido does not use his strength to push down an opponent with muscle strength.
Moves to "relieve" your strength.
This is generally called "breathing power." That's why even weak women and the elderly can throw away a huge 100-kilometer guy like me. Therefore, the age range of students is very wide, from teens to 70s, and there are many women.
Of course, there are children from around four years old to middle school.

It's been a long time, but Aikido is a martial art that ends a battle by "guiding" an opponent rather than defeating them.
What is the other person thinking? What do you feel? As I think about it this way, I naturally learn etiquette.

Also, there are many throwing techniques, so it's also effective for dieting (^^♪

So, what is Aikido like? If you are interested, we recommend checking out this blog frequently or looking for a nearby dojo and visiting it. Because it's never scary!
I'm going to write an article about this Aikido for the first time! Please wait!
