I participated in this event, which I usually practice with people involved in the Self-Defense Forces.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude.
I will do my best to get the opportunity to participate someday.
About the All Self-Defense Forces Aikido demonstration tournament
First, I will explain the "All Self-Defense Forces Aikido demonstration tournament."
This year's "56th All Self-Defense Force Aikido Exercise Conference"
was held with the cooperation of the Ministry of Defense Aikido Federation
the Aikikai Public Interest Incorporated Foundation
, and Defense Home Newspaper
The members of the Ministry of Defense Aikido Federation across the country, the Aikikai dojos, and the Defense University Aikido Club, and others participate in the event and demonstrate the results of their daily training.
Details are included in the January 1st issue of Self-Defense Forces News.
The Chintokudate Aikido I attend is not a member dojo of the Aikikai public interest incorporated foundation, but this time I was a special attendee.
About the contents of the Aikido demonstration
When I looked into it,
I found that " is "showing martial arts in front of people" and "master exercises."
There are no
matches in Aikido It's not banned, and that's not what we're aiming for.
Personally, I think it's pointless to aim for that, as the battle (match) is a temporary thing, even if you win today you'll lose tomorrow.
That's why I think we will "compete" to confirm each other's skills and physical and mental growth through demonstrations.
The term "competition" here means not competing, but accepting each other.
So, what does the demonstration do?
Please watch the video in person.
This time's demonstration is
-
- One-on-one receiving without weapons (bare hands)
- One-on-one receiving with weapons (staffs)
- A large number of people with weapons
uses 10 thrusts and side-side hits .
When using the cane receiver, first thrusts and then performs several receivers, then performs a series of long moves that connect the entire vessel.
Finally, the majority of people are throwing the teacher in succession as they are surrounded by two men and attacking them all at once with weapons.
Of course, there are many other forms of demonstrations besides this.
They may
show skills while lecture on basic philosophy , have a larger number of people At one university, some people showed the techniques they had in the event of a molester in a play .
Aikido is not something to say, "This is what you have to do!"
You think for yourself and create your own aikido.
Therefore, if you bias yourself towards techniques and techniques, you will not be able to grow your mind and body.
I aim to create a calming demonstration with my opponent.
What does it mean to calm the mind? What is tying?
With that in mind, I'm practicing hard.
summary
Thank you for reading to the end.
After hearing about the video this time and how he interacted with the organizers and other dojo members, I hope
be able to participate in such a large-scale demonstration event It's not possible someday!
Now, move forward and learn from yourself!
Imagine myself being able to stake out the three of us (・∀・) I feel like I
'm going to squeal (lol) at my dojo, where there was a demonstration of stakeout (with weapons) in the stakeout examination.
During that practice I practiced as one of the attackers, but it was very difficult💦
The teachers say they are enthusiastic about training, but I want to be able to do it even more!
That's why I want to work hard at rehearsals with a "purpose (theme)."
This was the Chintokudate Aikido demonstration at the All Self-Defense Forces Aikido demonstration that made me feel passionate.
It was Taiko.
