Good evening.
It was raining heavily today. Lightning also hit the workplace and a female employee was crying out.
Today, I'm not going to write about my diet articles, but rather write my thoughts on a book I've read recently.
This is a book called "Leverage Reading" by Honda Naoyuki.
With the theme of "extensive reading," the book is written in a way that "diagonally reads" each book in one hour.
The important thing is
to read with purpose.
- Make sure to output.
・As long as you can get 16% of what you want to get from the book, it's OK.
By having the purpose of "what to learn from the book you want to read," you unconsciously pick up the keywords you want to aim for, so you can understand the content even if you read it briefly.
Once you have finished reading the book, write down what you've learned as a note, carry it around and read it again in your spare time to make sure you're able to do it.
About 16% of all pages can be obtained from books, so there's no need to worry if you think that there's important information in places where you've skipped more, so it's fine to read as much as you want.
I don't really like the word success, but those people read a lot (an incredible amount) and output a lot.
The last thing that really stuck with me was, "Reading a book increases your time."
It only comes back to you as much as you read it.
I think it's an investment in myself in the long run, so I'll enjoy reading it extensively.
