Hello, this is Taiko.
It's been a while since I've written a blog.
I'm very late to report this, but
I was promoted to "Nindan" on January 1st, 2020!
As a result, I also received a "instructor" qualification!
I started in February 2015, so it's almost been five years.
I became my first dan in three years, and I spent two years becoming my second dan.
To call yourself an Aikido family, you must first become a 2nd dan!
I'm very happy to have told you that.
Also, as an instructor, I will be in the position to teach when the teacher is not present.
First, we start by working with beginners and children.
The other day, I was taught the first half of the training session.
There are a lot of things that you only notice when you try it.
The movement is small.
The body movements are small.
Maybe they misunderstood the movement.
Maybe you haven't heard of people.
Now that we've become a second-dan, we need to have a strong sense of responsibility! That's what I thought.
What is responsibility?
I've been learning for five years, so I'm able to answer any questions I ask.
Do not shame the dojo itself by making poor demonstrations.
Above all, trust in yourself.
There are a lot of changes happening.
The biggest thing is that I was able to practice more.
For those who are about to be promoted, we will film passive videos of weapon techniques and use them as reference materials.
We would like to take action to make each other a win-win situation.
This year's action goals are:
actively training weapon techniques
, training how to communicate words,
and dieting.
In particular, dieting is currently underway and is steadily improving.
Once I've lost some weight, I'm planning to resume my free technique (10 throws) and start filming it.
And I think it would be great if there was an external demonstration event.
I hope there will be more Aikido friends.
