Last weekend, I came to Tokyo to attend a seminar.

I came on the first flight so I had a lot of time left.

Hmm, I have no choice but to tour Ochanomizu guitar shops!
It's been eight years since I went there.

Here are some thoughts on this old journey that will make your guitar passion come to life.
I decided to walk around, sniffing along with my nostalgia.

I couldn't find any of the photos in the store, so I'll just write it.
We are sorry.

About the town of Ochanomizu

What kind of city is Ochanomizu?

The one that comes to mind is Ochanomizu Women's University! Dr. Ochanomizu? No, that's not

The location is around here.

As you can see, there are a lot of music stores, especially guitar shops.
A day isn't enough to look around all of them.

Another feature is that there are many universities.
There are many famous universities, such as Meiji University, Nihon University, Juntendo University, and Tokyo Medical and Dental University

Also, since Jimbocho is right next to it, it is also
a town of books and curry There are also many second-hand bookstores, so book lovers will love it!

That is!
If you come here you can see instruments, read lots of books, and enjoy delicious curry!

That's why I love it (`・ω・´) Shake

I went to a vintage guitar specialty store.

Well, first of all, there are three restaurants I would like to visit.

    1. Bluesy Corporation
    2. Woodman Limited
    3. Hobos

They all stock a wide selection of vintage guitars, so I used to stop by every time.

First up is the Hobos

are also many
classic Martin and Gibson (the two giants who make guitars) Among them, Collings , which were made in Austin, USA.

I had never played it before, but I had heard the audience enthusiastically experimenting.

My personal opinion is that it has a clear sound with a core.
It felt more like beautiful water than a dry, withered look.

I love the owner here because he is very kind and will teach you everything in detail.
However, it was a shame that I didn't have the opportunity to talk about it this time.

But I'll come again, definitely!

Next is Woodman Limited

There's something about here too, but there was a huge harp guitar (a combination of a harp and guitar) about 100 years ago.
It was kept in a showcase carefully, and I saw a lot of guitars that were the first time I had seen them.

So, here I played
a Gibson J-45 from the 1940s The J-45 is the name of the guitar and is a classic model. And it's pre-war .

This was rumbling and I almost drooled, and I played it for about 20 minutes.
I didn't buy it in the end lol
I'd like it someday, ok

The third one is Bluesy Corporation.

This place has a lot of super old, super-high-class guitars, 4 million yen.

However, here I tried out
J-50 My impression is that from 1965 the guitar neck was thinner, making it easy to play.

GIBSON J-50 1965

As a result, I didn't feel the power sound as much as I expected.
That's I don't have enough skill .

Every shop staff is very passionate about guitars, so I want them to continue to use them.
It's dangerous and dangerous.

I stopped by a Gibson specialty store and the staff member was so passionate about to buy it with excitement.

I also received a famous quote.

"Vintage is encounter and momentum"

Is this also relevant to marriage hunting? ? ! !

I had a lot of Ochanomizu so I had lunch.

Yes, I'm hungry. As expected.

Jimbocho is famous for its many curry restaurants, but I wanted to save money so I ate cakes at Doutor.

At this point I had already walked
15,000 steps After this, I visited four more stores and checked into the hotel around 4pm.

summary

This time there was a seminar pre-party, so it was also a way to kill time until then.
However, it was fun to hear about some very valuable stories.

Martin's D-35 also had a solid bass sound, and I wanted another day off.

most the only 28 guitars in the world played the best.
Isn't 390,000 yen cheap? !
GIBSON L-00, made in 1941.

GIBSON L-00 1941 (speculation)

When it comes to pre-war items, they have completely withered and produce an indescribable aged sound.
It would look cool to play the blues with this.

I also enjoy alcohol (^^♪

Ah, I want it now.
The usual disease that I want a guitar has been developed.

Can I go to the hospital tomorrow?
No, I'll work seriously.

But now I'm looking for a marriage partner.
I'm applying for a local matchmaking event on the weekend, so I have to focus on that.

After about an hour of dialogue with me, I took a bath at the hotel and had a drink beforehand.
The hotel was a capsule hotel, and there were a lot of foreigners.

Well, I'll end here today, but I'd like to write about the eve of the festival tomorrow.

That's it, Taiko
